Why Choose Us
Excellent Track Record:
"Dublin Business English" was set up as a specialist business English language school in 2005. We have over 15 years' experience offering in-house business English language courses to the corporate sector in Dublin. We have since broadened our product offering to include both general and business English exam classes which we presently offer online to individuals or groups in both the corporate and non-corporate sector.
Online classes are available at times that suit you whether it is an individual lesson or a group lesson. We are available from 8am to 10pm Monday- Friday and weekends too! We use Zoom as our online platform but equally Skype, Microsoft Teams, Google hangouts, and Google Meet are other options.
Fees are very competitive and are all inclusive. All preliminary assessments and tests (entry tests, tests handed out during the course and the final exit test) are administered and corrected free of charge. Each student gets resource material sent to them via their 'Google Docs' account after every class incorporating the material covered in class. In addition, students have direct access to their language tutors via email or WhatAapp whenever they have any queries.
Business & general English exams
Over 15 years' experience in preparing students for the BEC, FCE, CAE, IELTS and TOEIC exams. We offer B2 First (FCE ) and C1 Advanced (CAE) classes to individuals and small groups both online and at our school premises in Donnybrook. The B2 First exam focuses on level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages – an upper intermediate level of English. The C1 advanced exam focuses on level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages – the level required for academic and professional success. You will do practice tests as well as learn appropriate strategies to use in these exams. We also offer both general and academic IELTS exam preparation classes.
When teaching in-person classes, every effort is made to make our school as paperless as possible, students get soft copies of relevant material, e.g. course books, & handouts. Equally, homework is sent via email to our clients who after completing it, send it back to their teacher for correction. Online classes are by definition paperless as all handouts are sent digitally to our clients after every class. We subscribe to a number of English language resource sites for supplementary resource material that can be printed off and handed to our students for completion when teaching face to face classes or sent digitally when teaching online.
