Our story to date:
Dublin Business English Language Centre (DBE) was set up in 2005. We are passionate about helping you improve your English language skills; in particular your spoken and written skills, built on a strong foundation of grammar structures. We offer both general and business English language training to individuals and small groups allowing you to make rapid progress. For private clients, (adults, teenagers and young learners) we offer online classes via Zoom. For corporate clients, we can go to your premises at times that suit you; equally our online classes are another option; allowing you to improve your English skills in a structured and interactive setting without leaving the office. It is also possible to follow a blended learning system - combining face to face classes with online classes.
School Methodology
Creating a convivial atmosphere in the class has always been the school's philosophy ever since we started almost 20 years ago. The key is for students to enjoy the learning process and make learning the language a by-product of this philosophy.
We combine a grammar based syllabus alongside a communicative based one. Maximum success is achieved by a) tailoring our classes to each individual student or group and b) providing interesting and challenging materials and tasks. We correct your homework in advance of your class thus maximising the time spent in class on any errors that need explaining and freeing up more time for new material and communicative exercises.

Training courses can be carried out face-to face, online via Zoom or a blended approach; a combination of F2F and online classes. We recommend a minimum of 12 classes for both individuals and groups.

Major Language Courses Offered
We cover general English, business English, business English exams such as: BEC Vantage, BEC Higher and the TOEIC test. We also specialise in the IELTS ( Academic and General Training) Cambridge general English exams, namely B2 First and the C1 Advanced exam and the OET test - the English language test of choice for the healthcare sector.
